The Hydroelectric Development of the Baixo Sabor (AHBS) covering the municipalities of Alfândega da Fé, Macedo de Cavaleiros, Mogadouro and Torre de Moncorvo. This development comprises a main dam and respective reservoir and a small height counter-dam located downstream that serves to stabilize the flow turbine in the top flight.
• Compensatory Measure MC10 main goal was the definition of compensatory measures for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates in the Sabor valley, after conducting further studies.
