Construction of a 123 m high concrete arch dam, with a volume of about 700,000 m3. A shaft type powerhouse will be equipped with two reversible units, located in independent wells, with a diameter of 11.5 m, a height of 79 m. The independent pressure tunnels have a 5.7 m diameter. The diversion works will consist of two cofferdams and a 400 m long tunnel, with a diameter of 7 m.
• Geological and geotechnical mapping of excavated fronts (open pit and underground);
• Elaboration of instrumentation and monitoring design and analysis of obtained data;
• Contribution for the outlining of construction methodologies and quarry exploitation;
• Geotechnical design of open pit and underground excavations and its support systems.
