Environmental monitoring of the Community of Bats and Control Plan Acacia aims to fulfill the demands set out by the Ministry of Environment (DIA).
An Integrated Management Plan will be implemented from Acacia spp. and Habitat Restoration (PICARH) that defines the native vegetation for intervention sites and subsequently recovered, so that it evolves to the desirable natural biotope "mixed forest", simultaneously creating unfavorable conditions to colonization by Acacia spp.
• PICARH will focus on the phases of construction and operation of the project. This is a control plan that involves essentially control actions, but also actions for monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of the control.
• As for bats, monitoring aims to assess the impacts induced by construction and operation of the project. Thus, two specific objectives were established, namely: Identify changes in this community in the area to be intervened by the workS; Monitor the possible use of existing shelters for bats in the vicinity.
• The purpose of monitoring is to quantify Sound Environment noise and vibration measuring points along the selected Sensitive Receptors with human use, to gauge compliance with legal and / or good practices applicable requirements.
